A Bouncing Ball

Answer questions 1, 2, and 3 of Lab 8.1 in the text. Use a dimensionless version of the system, in which the gravitational constant g = 1, and the coefficient of air resistance is also 1. Use the initial conditions y(0) = 1 and y'(0) = 0.

Hint: Let T0 be the time of the first bounce. Using the equaton for the fallinmg ball you will find a relation which expresses exp(T0) as a polynomial in T0. This will considerably simplify the rest of the algebra.
