Department of Mathematics
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Speakers
Schedule
Here is the conference schedule with abstracts. The first talk starts at 11 a.m.
Registration
Click here for online registration form.
List of registered participants.
Funding
Limited funding will be available for graduate students, postdocs, and visiting faculty.
The deadline to request funding is February 1, using the registration form.
Conference Dinner
There will be an informal dinner after the last talk. Please contact Martin Frankland if you plan
on joining us for dinner, by February 17 so that we can reserve in advance.
Travel
At http://illinois.edu/resourcesfor/visitors/directions.html the University of Illinois maintains a web page giving
travel
information, especially about driving to Urbana-Champaign.
Parking
You can find parking information here. We recommend the parking garage C7, whose entrance is on John St, just west of Sixth St. It is free all day on weekends, and after 5 PM on weekdays, though overnight parking is never allowed there.
Accommodations
Given the short duration of the conference, there will not be a block of hotel rooms reserved.
If you need a room, please arrange your own accommodation. A list of hotels can be found here:
http://www.visitchampaigncounty.org/plan-your-trip/accommodation.
In terms of convenience, the Illini Union is next door from the mathematics department, while the
Hampton Inn and Sylvia's Irish Inn (bed and breakfast) are within a 20 minute walk.
A bit farther are
the Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Hawthorn Suites, and Holiday Inn. The Eastland Suites Hotel
is farther still, but offers complimentary shuttle service.
For more economical options, there are also
motels in the area, notably on University Avenue.
